The death toll from the recent floods across the country has increased to 71, with 45 men, 7 women, and 19 children confirmed dead, according to a report from the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief

The death toll from the floods across various districts in the country has risen by four, bringing the total number of fatalities to 71, according to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief.

"Flood casualties now total 71, comprising 45 men, 7 women, and 19 children," said Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief Adviser Faruk-e-Azam during a press conference on Tuesday (3 September).

The distribution of fatalities is as follows: 19 in Comilla, 28 in Feni, 6 in Chattogram, 1 in Khagrachari, 11 in Noakhali, 1 in Brahmanbaria, 1 in Lakshmipur, 3 in Cox's Bazar, and 1 in Moulvibazar. Additionally, there is one person reported missing in Moulvibazar.
