Early morning rain in the city has resulted in waterlogging in certain parts and a disruption in the traffic system.
The waterlogging has caused heavy traffic jams in the areas of Karwan Bazar, Dhanmondi, Mirpur, Adabar, Shamoli, Kolabaghan, Kathalbagan, Shewrapara, Kazipara, Malibagh, West Tejturi Bazar, Bangshal, Bakshibazar, Tejgaon, Tejkunipara and Bashundhara areas.
Officegoers and schoolgoers have been suffering much to reach destination.
The Meteorological Department had initially forecast rain for today in Dhaka, Khulna, Chattogram, Barishal, and Sylhet.
