The outpatient department at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) would resume services on a limited scale from Tuesday (3 September), said the agitating doctors.
"Fom tomorrow, Tuesday (3 September), the outpatient department will operate on a limited scale from 10am to 1pm," said Dr Abdul Ahad, a resident surgeon of the Neurosurgery Department at DMCH, during a press conference held on Monday (2 September).
Services were halted as part of a "complete shutdown" called by doctors in response to an attack on their colleagues. Although the emergency department has resumed operations, the outpatient department remained closed.
However, doctors have now decided to resume outpatient services as well.
