The government has reduced fuel prices as part of its monthly practice to adjust prices with global rates.
The price of diesel and kerosene has been reduced by Tk1.25, bringing the new price to Tk105.50 per liter.
The price of petrol has been lowered by Tk6, making it Tk121 per liter.
Additionally, the price of octane has also been reduced byTk 6, now costing Tk131 per liter.
The announcement was made on Saturday through a notification signed by Mohammad Shafiullah, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources.
The new rates will take effect from 1 September.
