There will be no forced or coerced resignations in educational institutions, said Education Adviser Dr Wahiduddin Mahmud.
"Ongoing processes of appointment and recruitment are currently in progress. Creating instability through forced resignations could potentially disrupt the administration and affect the payment of salaries and allowances to teachers and staff," he said during a meeting on Sunday (25 August).
He also assured that any legitimate complaints against individuals in various positions within educational institutions would be duly addressed.
The adviser further clarified that appointments and transfers within government educational institutions are carried out according to established rules and regulations, with no provision for coercive resignations.
He expressed a desire to return to a well-ordered society following a successful transition, stressing the need to restore the expected relationships between teachers and students and highlighting the importance of maintaining decorum within educational settings.
