The interim government has promoted 30 additional superintendents of police to the rank of superintendent of police (SP) in the latest reshuffle within the police administration.
The Public Security Division of the Home Ministry issued a notification on Tuesday (20 August) regarding the promotions.
Earlier, on 18 August, the government had promoted 73 additional deputy inspector generals (Additional DIGs) to the rank of deputy inspector general (DIG) of police. Of these, 63 were promoted on a supernumerary basis.
