Taqsem A Khan, managing director of Dhaka Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA), has resigned from his post on Wednesday (14) night.
Sources at WASA said Taqsem had sent the resignation letter via e-mail.
The WASA chief has resigned from his post citing health grounds, sources added.
Taqsem has been holding the post since October 2009. His seventh term for three years started in August of last year.
