All primary schools across the country reopened on Wednesday (14 August), following a nearly month-long closure due to countrywide protests and unrest.
Ministry of Primary and Mass Education issued a directive to reopen the schools on Tuesday (13 August).
The circular, signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Satyajit Roy Dash, provided necessary instructions to officials at the district and upazila levels.
According to the directive, all primary schools will resume operations from Wednesday.
Public Relations Officer Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin from the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education stated that while classrooms had remained open during this period, regular teaching activities had been suspended. Full-scale teaching will recommence on Wednesday.
The circular also mentioned that all primary educational institutions under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education would resume full academic activities. The previous office order, issued on 3 August, is hereby nullified.
