The police headquarters has announced that operations have resumed in 634 out of the total 639 police stations across the country.
In a press release issued on Tuesday (13 August), it was confirmed that all 110 metropolitan police stations and 524 out of 529 district police stations have restarted their functions.
Operations have not yet commenced in five police stations due to severe damage. These stations have experienced significant losses, including the destruction of essential logistics, furniture, and other necessary equipment. However, the press release assures that operations in these five stations are expected to resume within the next 2-3 days.
