Students from the Hindu community staged a protest in Shahbagh on Monday, alleging that Hindu community was subjected to widespread vandalism, arson, assault, and even rape and murder following the resignation of Sheikh Hasina.

During the protest march, they chanted slogans condemning the attacks on temples.

The students voiced their demands, saying, "We have awakened, the minority community has awakened. Why the attacks on temples? We demand answers from the administration. Who are you, who am I? We are all Bengalis. Why the attacks on Hindus? We demand answers."

The students criticised the destruction and looting of homes and temples, demanding justice for these acts. They called on the interim government, represented by Dr. Yunus, to swiftly address these issues, warning that their protest would continue until justice is served.
