In response to an invitation extended by the chief adviser of the interim government and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Dr Muhammad Yunus, senior leaders of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will meet with him at his official residence, State Guest House Jamuna.
BNP leaders, including the party’s secretary general, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, and members of the National Standing Committee, have been invited to meet the chief adviser at 4pm on Monday (12 August), said Shayrul Kabir, an official of the BNP Chairperson’s media wing.
He stated, "Under the leadership of Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the BNP Standing Committee members will meet with Dr Yunus at his residence this afternoon."
