The organisation emphasised that addressing the law and order situation and ensuring economic stability are the most urgent priorities.
DCCI also urged the government to bring justice by upholding the rule of law and enhancing good governance.
The Chamber highlighted the importance of resuming economic operations to their fullest extent. It stressed that the private sector requires prompt and substantial support to recover from recent disruptions.
A stable and conducive environment must be established to facilitate economic recovery, with a focus on political and regulatory certainty.
DCCI believes that ensuring a stable political environment is crucial to rebuilding business confidence both domestically and internationally.
DCCI urged all stakeholders, including the interim government, the private sector, and political parties, to work together to overcome the recent damages through a rigorous and sustainable economic recovery process.
The Chamber also called on the new government to prioritize measures such as financial sector stability, inflation control, forex reserve stability, capital market reforms, national revenue enhancement, and anti-corruption initiatives to aid the recovery of CMSMEs.
