A 13-member team from the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has entered Bangabhaban to present their outline for forming an interim government following the dissolution of parliament.

They were seen arriving at Bangabhaban in an Army minibus at 6 PM on Tuesday.

“We came to Bangabhaban to discuss the current situation and the outline of an interim government with the President and the chiefs of the three armed forces. Professor Asif Nazrul and Professor Dr. Mohammad Tanzimuddin Khan from Dhaka University are also present,” said Nahid Islam, one of the coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

President Mohammed Shahabuddin dissolved the 12th National Parliament, previously led by Sheikh Hasina, on Tuesday following a meeting with military chiefs, leaders of various political parties, civil society representatives, and leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement.

Earlier, Nahid Islam announced in a video message that Nobel laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus will serve as the chief adviser to their proposed interim government.
