Among those granted bail are BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, and Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar.

BNP allies appealed to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Wednesday seeking bail for the detained individuals who were arrested in connection with recent violence centering quota reform movement.

Earlier, lawyers held a meeting with justices regarding this matter.

The leaders and activists will be released by tomorrow if they do not have any previous cases against them.
