The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has set a deadline for the dissolution of Parliament.

"If Parliament is not dissolved by 3 PM today (Tuesday), we will announce stringent measures. I urge the students and the public to be prepared," said one of its coordinators, Nahid Islam, in a video message around 12:15pm on Tuesday (6 August).

In his address, Islam criticised the government for not dissolving Parliament even after the recent popular uprising, referring to Hasina's administration as fascist.
