Protesters from the ongoing Anti-Discrimination Student Movement set fire to the home minister's house in the wake of the current quota reform protests.

The incident occurred on Monday (5 August).

During the incident, the protesters were seen celebrating with slogans.

It's worth mentioning that on Saturday (3 August), the anti-discrimination student movement announced a nationwide "total non-cooperation program" starting Sunday. Following this announcement, on Sunday, they declared a long march towards Dhaka on Monday, calling for everyone to gather at Shahbagh in the capital.
