Among them, 13 policemen were killed in a terrorist attack at Enayetpur police station in Sirajganj and one policeman of Highway police station was killed in a separate attack in Elliotganj of Cumilla.

At least 98 people were killed in the non-cooperation programme across the country on Sunday (4 August) enforced by Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

Among them, twenty-two people, including thirteen policemen, were killed in Sirajganj, eleven in Dhaka city, eight in Feni, eight in Laxmipur, six in Narsingdi, five in Sylhet, five in Kishoreganj, five in Bogura, four in Magura, four in Rangpur, three in Pabna, three in Munshiganj, three, including a policemen, in Cumilla, two in Sherpur, two in Joypurhat, one in Bhola, one in Habiganj, one in Keraniganj in Dhaka, one in Savar, one in Barishal, one in Cox's Bazar, one in Sreepur in Gazipur.

In such a situation of the country, curfew has been imposed for indefinite period across the country from 6pm on Sunday (4 August).
