The government has announced a relaxation of the ongoing nationwide curfew in Dhaka metropolition, Gazipur, Narsingdi, and Narayanganj, allowing movement from 7am to 8pm for the next four days.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan made the announcement during a media briefing at the Secretariat on Tuesday (30 July).
“The situation in Bangladesh is gradually returning to normal, so the ongoing curfew will be relaxed from 7am to 8pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It will remain in force for Dhaka Metropolitan, Dhaka district, Narayanganj, Gazipur, and Narsingdi districts,” said the home minister.
In the remaining districts, the concerned district commissioners and law enforcement agencies will coordinate to enforce the curfew.
