Government offices will run from 9am to 3pm from untill Tuesday, starting tomorrow.
Public Administration Minister Farhad Hossain announced this during a conversation with journalists on Saturday (27 July).
He said, "The country is beginning to return to normalcy. The government has further relaxed the ongoing curfew, allowing government offices to operate for six hours from Sunday to Tuesday."
Earlier, in response to the violence, the government imposed a curfew on 20 July and declared a public holiday until 23 July.
As the situation improved, the Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on 23 July, stating that on 25 and 26 July, office hours for all government, semi-government, autonomous, and private offices would be from 11am to 3pm.
