Police personnel who were stranded inside Canadian International University during a clash with quota reform protesters amid the nationwide blockade programme on Thursday (18 July) were seen to be airlifted by a Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) helicopter.
The police personnel had found themselves trapped within the university premises while pursuing demonstrators.
Responding to an urgent call, the RAB helicopter swiftly arrived at the scene and rescued them, said an official.
