Three students from Dhaka University and Dhaka College were wounded by gunfire at the Chankharpul intersection in Dhaka.
The shooting incident occurred around 5:00pm on Tuesday.
Protesting students alleged that leaders and activists of the Dhaka Metropolitan South Chhatra League opened fire on their rally.
The injured students are Ratul from Bijoy Ekattar Hall, Shubho, and Shafin from Dhaka College. They were admitted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
