A man suspected to be a street vendor was killed after falling in the midst of a quota reform protest in front of Dhaka College on Tuesday.

Pedestrians took him to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries.

DMCH Police Outpost In-Charge Bacchu Miah confirmed the news, citing doctors in charge.

Eyewitnesses say quota reform protesters beat him as he came across their protest.
