6 found guilty in distribution of wrong question papers in Sitakunda

On 11 July, the creative section of the Physics first paper exam was mistakenly replaced with the second paper's question at Bijoy Smarani Degree College center.

Six people, including five officials and one cop, have been identified as responsible for the distribution of the wrong question paper during the HSC Physics exam in Sitakunda, Chattogram. 

The investigation committee, formed by the Sitakunda upazila administration, submitted its report to the Upazila Nirbahi Officer KM Rafiqul Islam, said the committee chief Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Sitakunda  Mohammad Alauddin.

Rafiqul said he will forward the report to the Deputy Commissioner and the Chairman of the Education Board who will decide the next couse of action.

The accused individuals include the principal and center secretary of Bijoy Smarani Degree College Shiv Shankar Shil, the head of the examination committee Noman, assistant professor Shahidullah Azad, lecturer Farzana Akter, an assistant education officer (tag officer), and a police constable. 

Previously, the exam center secretary, the head of the committee, and two other members were relieved of their duties due to this incident.

The incident occurred on Thursday (11 July), when the creative section of the Physics first paper exam was mistakenly replaced with the second paper's question at Bijoy Smarani Degree College center at 10:30am.

The error led to confusion and the retrieval of the incorrect question papers. The exam resumed approximately one and a half hours later with the correct first paper questions from the treasury.
