Bangladesh Chhatra League, the student wing of ruling Awami League, will conduct policy advocacy and door to door campaign on the issue of quota in government jobs.

Bangladesh Chhatra League, the student wing of ruling Awami League, will conduct policy advocacy and door to door campaign on the issue of quota in government jobs.

BCL president Saddam Hussein told a press conference on Friday (13 July) at Dhaka University's Madhu's canteen.

The BCL aims to aid the government to reach an inclusive solution to the issue.

The major activities under the campaign will be as collecting students' proposals on quota issue, said the BCL leader.

He added that they will be approving the general students and will talk to them individually on the issue.

Through the campaign, general students will have the chance to hone their skills in decision-making, developing an inclusive society based on equality, and crafting state-level policies.

BCL leaders said in the conference that they introduced the programme to bring an acceptable decision and rational solution through interaction with the students and policy makers.

The press conference was also attended by BCL's DU unit President Mazharul Kabir Shayon and General Secretary Tanbir Hasan Shaikat.
