Train communications between Dhaka and other parts of the country were restored after anti-quota protesters withdrew the blockade at around 5:30pm Today (10 July).

The rail service was disrupted after some students blocked the Kawran Bazar and Amtali rail crossings around 12:00pm.

Due to the blockade, at least eight trains were stuck at Kamalapur Railway Station. On the other hand, no trains entered Dhaka.

The Mohanganj Express left Kamalapur Railway Station at 5:30pm for Mymensingh.

As part of their ongoing movement termed "Bangla Blockade," the anti-quota protesters enforced a day-long blockade on Wednesday (10 July) to press home their one-point demand for quota reform in government jobs.
