On 30 June 1934, Adolf Hitler orchestrated a brutal and calculated purge known as the "Night of the Long Knives."
In a bid to consolidate his power and eliminate threats within his own ranks, Hitler ordered the assassination of key figures in the Sturmabteilung (SA), the Nazi Party's paramilitary wing.
Among the victims were Ernst Röhm, the SA's leader, and other prominent SA officials.
This swift and bloody operation, executed with ruthless efficiency, quelled internal dissent and solidified Hitler's control over the Nazi Party, paving the way for his unchallenged dictatorship.
