The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast that the ongoing rainy weather is likely to continue until the end of this week.
In its weather bulletin for the days leading up to Monday, the Met Office stated that light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, with moderately heavy to very heavy falls in some areas of the country.
It forecast the same weather for the next five days starting Tuesday.
During this period, day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country, according to the bulletin.
