The Shariah-based Union Bank PLC's Jashore branch has recently held a financial literacy campaign titled 'Usage and Benefits of Digital Transactions,' organised by the bank's Financial Literacy Wing.
The event was graced by the presence of Jahangir Alam, Deputy Managing Director of the bank, as the chief guest. Special guests included Mohammad Firoz Haider, Head of Satkhira Branch; Md. Babor Ali, Head of Jessore Branch; Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Head of Khulna Branch; Md. Zakir Hossain, Head of Kushtia Branch; and Saiful Islam, Head of Khajura Bazar Branch.
The event was also attended by local dignitaries and professionals from various sectors in Jashore.
During the campaign, discussions and video presentations highlighted the importance, usage, and benefits of digital transactions, along with financial planning and the advantages of saving.
