The Shariah-based Union Bank PLC recently organised a financial literacy campaign titled 'Usage and Benefits of Digital Transactions' at its Ukhiya Branch in Cox's Bazar.
The campaign was arranged by the bank's Financial Literacy Wing.
The event was graced by the presence of Chowdhury S.M. Atiqur Rahman Haider, Senior Vice President and Head of Branch Operations & Control Division and Financial Literacy Wing, as the chief guest. Special guests included Chowdhury Mohammad Erfanul Haque Haqqani, AVP and Head of Cox's Bazar Branch; Mohammad Zahed Ullah, FAVP and Head of Ukhiya Branch; Mohammad Hanif, FAVP and Head of Hnila Branch; and Khorshedul Alam, SPO and Head of Link Road Branch. The event also saw the participation of prominent local figures from Ukhiya.
During the campaign, discussions and video presentations highlighted the importance, usage, and benefits of digital transactions, along with financial planning and the advantages of savings.
