The price of gold in the country dropped again as the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) cut the price of 22-carat gold by Tk1,295 per bhori (11.664g).
Each carat of top-quality gold will now cost Tk1,15,882, BAJUS said in a statement on Saturday (8 June).
The new revised prices will be effective from Sunday (9 June).
It will remain in effect until further notice, BAJUS added.
Meanwhile, each bhori of 21-carat gold will cost Tk1,10,610 while 18-carat gold’s price now stands at Tk94,817.
The traditional gold price has been set at Tk78,382.
