Three people, including two children, were killed after being struck by lightning in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj on Friday (7 June) afternoon .
Officer-in charge-of Shibganj thana Md Sajjad Hossain confirmed the death incidents.
The deceased were identified as Boby Bhokot, 32, wife of Suvas Bhokot; Kabita Khatun, 11, daughter of Ershad Ali of Shibganj upazila.
Another victim is Amena Khatun, 10, daughter of Islam Ali of Andipur Hatatpara under Bholahat upazila in the district.
