The 53rd budget of the country is going to be placed at the National Parliament today (6 June).
This will be the first budget of the ruling Awami League government formed in the fourth consecutive term. This is also the first budget of Finance Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali.
Ali is set to unveil a possible Tk 7,97,000 crore national budget for the next fiscal year (FY25).
All budget information and important documents are available on the websites of Finance Division (https://mof.gov.bd) and National Board of Revenue (https://nbr.gov.bd), said a press release of the Ministry of Finance.
