The operation of the metro rail has largely been suspended since this morning due to a disruption in the power supply amid adverse weather conditions.
A train departed from Uttara-Uttar station this morning but halted at Mirpur-10, said Nazmul Islam Bhuiyan, Public Relations Officer of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL).
No other train departed from any station until 10:08 am when the service resumed with a train departing from Uttara station.
However, this train also faced disruption, said a passenger boarding the train.
