Rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds, are likely to occur across the country.
The meteorological office forecast for the next 24 hours, beginning from 6 pm today (11 May), predicts, “Rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally winds are likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions, and at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions with hail at isolated places.”
The forecast also notes that a trough of low pressure lies over West Bengal to the North-West Bay.
Day temperatures may fall slightly, while night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the forecast further said.
