Saudi Arabia has introduced new regulations for the issuance of Hajj visas, restricting travel solely to Jeddah, Medina, and Makkah.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has stated that the Hajj visa for 2024 permits pilgrims exclusively for the performance of holy rituals in these designated cities, reports Gulf News.

The ministry has underscored that the visa strictly confines travel within the boundaries of Jeddah, Medina, and Makkah.

Importantly, the visa is not valid for work, residency, or travel beyond these specified areas, and any breaches may result in a ban on future participation in Hajj and deportation.
