The 12th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) will go into its second session at 5:00pm today (2 May).
Exercising the power bestowed upon him as per the Clause (1) of Article 72 of the Constitution, President Mohammed Shahabuddin summoned the 2nd session of the 12th parliament on 15 April.
Prior to the sitting, JS business advisory committee will hold a meeting. Proceedings and duration of the session will be decided in the meet.
On 5 March last, the first session of the current parliament was prorogued.
