Islami Bank has collected the maximum remittances in the country in the first 26 days of April, said a report of Bangladesh Bank on Sunday (28 April).
According to the report, a total of $46,50,50,000 in remittances has been received through Islami Bank till 26 April.
The central bank report said a total of $16,89,70,000 has been sent as remittances in April of this year.
The next position on the list is BRAC Bank.
A total of $10,56,20,000 has been sent as remittance through this bank.
Besides, $9,19,30,000 came as remittances through Social Islami Bank, $8,98,00,000 through Bangladesh Krishi Bank and $7,43,40,000 through Janata Bank.
