The Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has decided to provide drinking water at populated points in the capital amid the scorching heat.
“Considering the intense heatwave, Dhaka WASA will supply drinking water at several points in the capital from 11 am to 5 pm,” said a press release issued by WASA.
The ongoing severe heat wave sweeping across the county will persist for three more days till Wednesday (24 April), said the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
Perticulary, a mild to moderate heat wave is flowing over Dhaka, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions.
