Educational institutions including primary and secondary schools and colleges will remain closed for the next seven days to safeguard children’s health from the scorching heatwave.
The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, with authorisation from Senior Information Officer Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, and the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education on Saturday issued seperate notices announcing the closure.
Educational institutions run under the Children Welfare Trust and semi-formal education bureau learning centers will also remain closed during this period.
