The fire that broke out in the cardiac intensive care unit (ICU) unit of the capital's Shishu Hospital has been brought under control.
The fire started at around 1:45pm on Friday (19 April), said the Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Multiple fire service units are worked to control the fire.
No casualties have been reported yet.
