Amid the ongoing heatwave persisting in parts of the country, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecasted rain in one or two places in all divisions except Khulna.
In its weather forecast for Thursday, the met office said rain or thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, are likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions. Hail is likely to fall at isolated places in those areas, the met office added.
While forecasting a continuation of the heatwave on Friday, the met office said one or two places over Sylhet division are likely to experience rain with hail at isolated places.
In its forecast for Saturday, the met office said rain or thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, are likely to occur at one or two places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with hail at isolated places.
