Security forces are working to ensure a smooth journey for holidaymakers during Eid, said the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).
“We have kept a special vigilance in each area,” RAB Legal and Media Wing Director Khandaker Al Moin said while inspecting the security measures at the capital’s Kamalapur Railway Station on Monday (8 April).
During this time the RAB official spoke to passengers and inquired about their complaints.
“Those who are leaving the city for the Eid holidays should start after checking their house locks and security. In case of any untoward incident, law enforcement agencies are ready to protect your assets,” he said.
“We have spoken to the passengers. Passengers expressed their satisfaction with the railway system. We have a control room in front of the station. Passengers can make any complaint,” the RAB official added.
He also said a special team has been formed to provide fast security and service.
