Additionally, the second-highest temperature of 39.04 degrees Celsius was recorded in Rajshahi, according to data from the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
The lowest temperature was recorded in Sylhet at 21.04 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department added that temperatures may slightly fall on Sunday.
