The BNP’s three affiliated organisations—Jatiyatabadi Jubodal, Swechchasebak Dal, and Chhatra Dal—have announced a protest march towards the Indian High Commission in Dhaka tomorrow (8 December).

The demonstration is in response to the recent attack on the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala, the desecration of Bangladesh’s national flag, and alleged conspiracies to incite communal unrest.

The protest march will commence from the BNP central office in Nayapaltan at 10:00 AM, according to a press release issued by Jatiyatabadi Jubodal this evening (7 December). The organisations also plan to submit a memorandum to the Indian High Commission as part of their protest.

Jatiyatabadi Jubodal President Abdul Moneim Munna and General Secretary Mohammad Nurul Islam Noyon, Swechchasebak Dal President SM Zilani and General Secretary Rajib Ahsan, and Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir issued a joint directive calling for spontaneous attendance from all levels of their respective organisations.
