The review committee, headed by Abdul Muid Chowdhury, chairman of the Public Administration Reform Commission, has submitted a report to the government recommending that the entry age for government jobs be raised to 35 for men and 37 for women.

He disclosed this information to journalists on Monday (14 October) during a press briefing at the Secretariat.

Abdul Muid Chowdhury stated that the committee has proposed increasing the entry age to 35 for men and 37 for women in government employment.

The final decision will be made by the government following discussions in the advisory council.

He also clarified that the committee did not make any recommendations regarding retirement age.
