Dhakeshwari National Temple in Old Dhaka today transformed into a heavenly space as thousands of devotees gathered to bid farewell to Goddess Durga. The emotional farewell was marked by the traditional Sindoor Khela (vermillion play), where devotees joyfully smeared vermillion on each other in celebration.
Amidst the vibrant festivities, the air was filled with the rhythmic sounds of drums and conch shells, adding to the divine atmosphere. Devotees were seen dancing and joyfully playing with colours, embodying both the joy of the festival and the sadness of bidding farewell to the goddess.
