The Bangladesh Embassy in Beirut has advised Bangladeshis to evacuate from dangerous areas in South Beirut in the context of ongoing attacks in Lebanon.

The advice was issued in a circular of the Bangladesh Embassy in Beirut on Friday night (27 September) local time.

According to the circular, “Airstrikes have been ongoing in some areas of South Beirut for the past week. As the attack shows, living in and around Dahieh is extremely dangerous. In this situation, those Bangladeshi expatriates who are still living in those areas should leave that area quickly. They were advised to locate north of Beirut or some other safe area.”

In case of emergency, the embassy has requested to contact the front desk of the embassy on 71217139, hotline 70635278, helpline 81744207 and e-mail beirut.mission@mofa.gov.bd.
