Shahriar Kabir, former president of the Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee, has been detained Monday (16 September).
Banani Police detained Shahriar from his residence, Tejgaon Police Station OC Md Mobarak Hossen confirmed the matter.
Shahriar was shown arrested in a murder case filed, he added.
Shariar Kabir was elected president of Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee in 2017 till 2024.
