Dhaka District Police arrested Safi Muddaser Khan Joty, the son of former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, in the Gulshan area of Dhaka on Friday night (13 September).
Joty was detained in connection with a case filed at Ashulia Police Station, said Dhaka District Police Super Ahmed Mueed.
However, details about the case and the charges against him have not yet been disclosed by the authorities.
