The Bangladesh Cricket team is set to meet Chief Adviser to the Interim Government Professor Muhammad Yunus, at his residence on Thursday (12 September.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) media wing confirmed the matter to media.

BCB president Faruque Ahmed, director Nazmul Abedeen Fahim and CEO Nizam Uddin Chowdhury will accompany the players during the visit. 

Professor Yunus made phone call Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto to congratulate the team that achieved unforgettable success in Pakistan earlier this month.

Tigers are scheduled to leave the country for India on 15 September to play two Tests and three T20 Internationals. 

According to the schedule, the tour will start with the first Test, beginning on 19 September in Chennai.
